TD wins Grammy for Metallica packaging design

Turner Duckworth won its first Grammy Award, the music industry’s equivalent of the Oscars. Our packaging design for Metallica’s latest album, Death Magnetic, includes the Metallica Logo, Album Cover, Digipak, Liner Notes, TShirt and Special Edition package that is already sold out everywhere. Death Magnetic went straight to number one in 34 countries including the UK and USA. Metallica have now had more albums go straight to No. 1 than any band in history, including The Beatles, but this is their first album to be nominated for design.
