Duckworth at the Brussels Design Forum 2009

The annual Brussels Design Forum was held this year at Flagey, the recently renovated art deco auditorium, previously home to Belgium’s national radio.

The forum aims to develop and strengthen networks by bringing experts and professionals from different design fields together to share creative experiences and challenges.

This year’s forum focused on two main themes, the challenges packaging designers face in the current economic climate, and how European design competitions can provide stimulation for creative and economic development.

Bruce’s speech focused on recent projects and our design philosophy. Bruce commented, “It was a fantastic opportunity to be invited to talk at such a magnificent venue and share our experience of working with large and small clients with other design professionals in Europe”.
